What is Dolby Atmos?

Dolby Atmos is the fastest growing audio format. It gives Stereo mixes new life by wrapping the sound field around the listener. Dolby Atmos uses binaural rendering to create an immersive surround sound experience, even in headphones!

How much does it cost?

Spatio will give you a world-class Atmos spatial audio mix for $150. The average cost of other providers is $1,000 per song. Always be on the lookout for promotions on our Instagram @SpatioMix !

What if I don't have the mixed stems to my song?

It's Okay! You can also use the mixed acappella and instrumental of your final mix.

If you do not have the acappella and instrumental you can simply re-upload the stereo, master of the song in the stem upload section. (doing this may make your Atmos mix noncompliant with Apple Music. It will still be compliant with all other DSP's and platforms, such as Amazon music, Tidal, SoundCloud, and all movie streaming platforms.

What if my uploaded stems do not match my uploaded 2-track?

If while using our stem verification system your stems do not match your final mix, you can re-export or bounce your stems from your song's final mix session. Click Learn How below.

How long will it take to get my Atmos mix?

After all files have been verified they will be put into one of our amzing engineer's schedule to mix. 48hrs later you will receive your Atmos files.

Can I listen to my Atmos mix once it is done?

Yes. You will receive a BIN file that you can use to listen to your Atmos mix using your headphones on any device. BIN files can only be played in Headphones.

What files do I receive from you?

You will receive two files from us. The larger file is your ADM.wav file. The ADM file cannot be played by you, outside of an Atmos studio. This file is to be delivered to your distributor. The second smaller file is a BIN file. This file can be played on all of your devices using headphones only.

What do I do with the Atmos files once I have them?

The larger ADM file should be uploaded to your music distributor. The smaller BIN file can be listened to by you, using Headphones Only.

What Independent distibutors accept Atmos?

Since Atmos has become the default file format for Apple Music, many distributors accept immersive music now. CLICK HERE to see a list of those distributors.

What devices play Atmos?

Currently any device with headphones can play immersive audio in it's binaural state using headphones.

What if my song isn't mixed yet?

Please make sure your song is fully mixed before uploading it to our system. Spatio is designed to make your song fully immersive in Atmos, but will not replace the stereo mix.

What if I need a revision?

All revisions are done via a virtual session in real time with an Engineer. The cost is $50 and you will hear the song as it is being revised to help the engineer perfect it to your liking.
